This power plant supplies power for 240,000 households in the surrounding area and has become an essential part of El Segundo. Along with those two large companies, there are also others which are considered to be the top employes in the city. The top three employers within El Segundo are Boeing, Raytheon Technologies, and Northrop Grumman.
